Mailing File

Produces a standard format output file.

Description

This service produces a standard format output file ready for mailing. All records on the file have a valid PAF address and are not on any of the suppression sources utilised as part of the job.

This service is costed at a set price.

Upload Options

The following options can be configured for this service at the upload stage.

Name	Description
Minimum PAF Match Level to Include in Output	Minimum PAF Match Level to Include in Output Dictates the required PAF match level that is required for a record to have achieved to be included in the mailing file: All results in all records being included in the output file regardless of the PAF match level. Town results in any record that is correct to at least town level being included in the mailing file. Street results in any record that is correct to at least street level being included in the mailing file. Building results in any record that is correct to at least building level being included in the mailing file. Exact results in only records that match to PAF being included in the mailing file.
Include Blank Addresses in Output	Include Blank Addresses in Output If selected then the mailing file will include any records with addresses that are blank.
Include Non-UK Addresses in Output	Include Non-UK Addresses in Output If selected then the mailing file will include any records with addresses that are outside of the UK.

There are no options that can be configured for this service at the download stage.

Output Columns

This service adds the following columns to your output data.

Name	Description
ID	ID If you included an Identifier column in your file, this value will be used for column 1. Otherwise this will be the number of the record within your source file.
Title	Title The title of the person on this record.
Forename	Forename The forename of the person on this record.
Surname	Surname The surname of the person on this record.
Address Line 1	Address Line 1 The first address line of the record. If the Mover service was purchased, and the record was identified as a mover, then this will contain details of the new address.
Address Line 2	Address Line 2 The second address line of the record. If the Mover service was purchased, and the record was identified as a mover, then this will contain details of the new address.
Address Line 3	Address Line 3 The third address line of the record. If the Mover service was purchased, and the record was identified as a mover, then this will contain details of the new address.
Address Line 4	Address Line 4 The fourth address line of the record. If the Mover service was purchased, and the record was identified as a mover, then this will contain details of the new address.
Town	Town The town of the address on the record. If the Mover service was purchased, and the record was identified as a mover, then this will contain details of the new address.
Postcode	Postcode The postcode of the address on the record. If the Mover service was purchased, and the record was identified as a mover, then this will contain details of the new address.
DPS	DPS The DPS of the address on the record. If the Mover service was purchased, and the record was identified as a mover, then this will contain details of the new address.
Country	Country If purchased, this field will be populated with the country name from the Country Detection service. Otherwise it will use the value in the column in your source file that was mapped as the country field. If the source file didn't contain a country column, this field will be left blank.
