Data8's Mover service checks the name and address of the records provided against a number of third party sources.
Records that are found on a source at the specified match level are populated with their new address.
This service is costed on a per hit basis.
This service requires the following data to be available before it can be used:
- Address
- Person Name
This service can also make use of the following optional data to improve its effectiveness:
- Last Transaction Date
The following options can be configured for this service at the upload stage.

Follow movers abroad | Follow movers abroad
Will append a Mover address if the address is both abroad and in the source file. |
Output Data Source | Output Data Source
When appending flags, includes an additional column indicating which data source matched each record. |
Output Mover Date | Output Mover Date
When appending flags, includes an additional column indicating the date that the goneaway was registered on. Not all data sources provide this information - it will be provided where available. |
Output Match Level | Output Match Level
When appending flags, includes an additional column indicating how much of the name information in the supplied record matched that in the reference data source. |
There are no options that can be configured for this service at the download stage.
This service adds the following columns to your output data.

Mover Match Level | Mover Match Level
Only output if appending flags and if the "Output Match Level" advanced option is selected. Outputs either "Surname", "Initial" or "Forename" to indicate the level at which the match has been made. |
Mover Data Source | Mover Data Source
If the record has been matched to the mover source files then one of the following values will be presented here to indicate which file the record has matched to:

Address Line 1 of either the original address, if it has not been matched to the source files, or the new Address if it has. |
